Salty Summer Days

It's that time of year! Days are longer, hotter and dripping with the itch to stay in the pool! Each summer we tend to favor a new taste and put our cocktail crafting skills to the test. Naturally, we switch from our spring fave pinot gris to summer water, but we always like to experiment with fresh fruits and locally distilled vodka. Currently we are loving The Cookie Rookie's Grapefruit Salty Dog. It's light, refreshing and so easy to whip up. Absolutely perfect for a backyard BBQ or afternoon at the beach or pool. (For us, there need not be any special occasion!) [recipe below]

Enjoy!

Xx,
