a year in review

Whether you've been guilty of snapping a selfie or pinning your favorite street style looks from Paris to Milan, it's definitely been a year in both classic and emerging fashion trends worth capturing.  We've seen techy gadgets become wearable accessories (i.e. FitBit, Google Watch, Tory Burch FitBit bangle, etc.) and the once "most" casual pieces of our wardrobe become termed "athleisure" for the everyday person who either is or is just thinking about working out but probably won't today.  Lupita, the actress became this year's red carpet favorite with her Audrey-esque sophistication and poise.  The Kardashians seemed to remain front and center of the paps and internets' attention.  Gladiator sandals came in full force and made a name for themselves (hence, we'll see much more on the Spring '15 horizon).  Midi - anything is back (thank you 60s for the revival).  And "less is more" became more prevalent in the world of fashion guru's and bloggers multiplied in our newsfeeds across the nation.

We've enjoyed partaking in and spectating the world of fashion this past year as we've now [thoroughly] enjoyed a solid 4 seasons humbly settled in our quaint beach community amongst loyal and kind customers and neighbors.  Minus a slight bit of a setback this past August we managed to make light of our misfortune and coined our own "Crash Sale", who knew it would be such a hit?! Opening back up this past November brought us great joy as we had the opportunity to introduce new designers to AshleGryre and unveil a few upgrades that we thought our customers would appreciate as well.

In a year's time we established AG on the "social' scene, launched our own e-commerce site and traveled to 7 fashion markets from NY to LA in an effort to broaden the fashion spectrum in Jacksonville and bring refreshing, out-of-the-box styles and designs to our customer base which spans from our backyard to Australia.  We are so delighted and thankful to continue to serve our community both local and afar.  As we close the chapter on 2014, we are excited and eager for what 2015 will bring for both AshleGryre and your wardrobe!

Wishing you a year filled with many blessings and lots of champagne!

xx,
